Our Story
The West Ardnamurchan Community Development Company (WACDC) was established in 2012 to support the development of sustainable projects and initiatives that strengthen the remote and rural communities of West Ardnamurchan.
Since becoming a registered charity in 2016, we have worked alongside local people to create opportunities that benefit the area now and for future generations.

Everything we do is guided by the principles of sustainable development and shaped by the needs and aspirations of our community.
In 2018, an extensive community consultation identified four key priorities that continue to inform our work: Community, Housing & Social Care; Local Economy, Employment & Tourism; Environment, Transport & Communications; and Arts, Culture & Heritage.
